Hi! My name is Emily Millar and I'm a 3rd year History student at the University of Strathclyde, specialising in sexual health and disease studies. I also own and run 2 successful independent art businesses, selling custom work. I am a former student of Tramway Visual Arts Studio and currently a member of the Gallery of Modern Art Youth Group. I have had internships with Netflix and Titan Publishing, as well as shadowing Scottish artist Andy Scott. I am offering weekly tuition in either History or Art, where I obtained the highest grades in my Higher year of high school. At university, I have covered a large range of historical topics and run an associated society. I can also give portfolio guidance and information on artistic paths in Scotland. This ranges from CV help to advice concerning personal statements/experience.

Hi! My name is Madeleine Murphy and I am a 3rd year politics and history student at the University of Strathclyde. Alongside my studies, I have completed an internship with one of the UK’s leading government policy think tanks called Bright Blue, based at Fleet Street in London, receiving praise from the director for my published review into the introduction of minimum unit alcohol pricing. I have worked as a secretary in local politics for many years, have had the opportunity to shadow MSPs, and work alongside MPs at party conferences. I aim to have a career concerning global security or diplomacy. I offer weekly online tutoring sessions in English, history, modern studies/politics, and can also offer sessions covering CV and personal statement building. I have a love for the humanities subjects and know the study methods and helpful tips and tricks required to help secure good grades. Back in high school, my study methods helped me to achieve certification following receiving the highest English grade in the year from my school.
